About Palmetto Dunes - Fazio Course (Hilton Head Island, SC)
The 2,000-acre resort at Palmetto Dunes has always been recognized for its outstanding golf facilities. The George Fazio Course, opened in 1974, is considered by many to be the island's toughest layout including the demanding 230-yard par-three 17th hole. If you're looking to test your mettle, this is the course for you. The course offers a series of long par-4s, beset with bunkers and water hazards—demanding a combination of length and precision play. This Fazio course has been ranked amoung the Top 100 courses in the country by Golf Digest.

This course was the toughest to manage your game. You had to drive the ball to the good spots and hitting the greens wasn't good enough. You had to get close to the pins to have a good run for the putts to go in. Great golf course!
